Quote Number 1
"from the day on, the next ten years, while we traveled from place throughout California, fallowing the cops and living in migrant labor camps, I feared been caught by the border patrol."-Fransisco
I think that this quote has to do with some of the hardships they had to go through because they have to live with the fear of being capsured. for example they have to always stay on their guard I know if i was in that predicament i wouldn't be able to sleep.
I can relate to this qoute because my uncle came to this country illegaly and which in a way made him an illegal immigrant and he was always on his toes about the border patrol but the differnce is that their whole family was together and nice to each other , and my uncle was just straight out rude.
how do you think would would have acted if your family was on the run?

1. I also like the quote that you chose because a lot of families do that; they travel throughout America for money. I didn't really notice that it was a hardship but if I was in the same position I would feel the same way.
1a. If my family was on the run I wouldn't feel that safe because any moment you could be caught and you would always have a fear and guilt on you. I don't really understand why they couldn't come legally, unless they could'nt afford to come here legally or something.
