breaking through quote number two

"things got worse when papa started having back problems and had trouble picking crops. luckily, in the winter of 1957,Roberto found a part-time job working as a janitor at Main Street Elementary School in Santa Maria, California."- Fransisco

This quote that I found book has to do with some of the hardships they had to go through because it explains how when their dad couldn't really work any more the next man of the house hold stepped up to the plate and took control and in that event found a job to help supplies his family.

I could relate to this quote because in my house hold my dad supplies us by us I mean my family and I think if he were to get injured that another person in my family would have to step up to the plate and get a job to help pay for the bills.

what do you think your family would have done in their position?

1. I like the quote that you chose because a lot of people go through that same position. I like how you related to the quote because I thought that it was interesting and I could relate as well. I think that a janitor job would've been a really low-payment job but either way it would help the family.

1a. I think that my family would've done the same thing. My brother would probably would have to step up and help out the family and would try to find a job as well. Life would be more difficult and it was really affect my family.

I think this quote really describes the troubles the characters are facing. Also, it describes how the family helped to over come those struggles as well.

I think my family would have did the same thing but I think they would have made Francisco get a job as well. Also, I think it would be more easier to have too young people working than an older man working.
