post num ber 2 the circiut

"The pounding of the rain on th roof woke me several times during the night. Every time I opened my eyes, I saw the burning tip of papa's cigarette glowing in the dark; Other times I herd the rattle of his aspirin bottle."-Fransisco

I think this has to do with the hardships the shard because it shows how they weren't perfect and the dad took out his depression out with cigarettes and aspirin. well I thought it had to do with it because it shows the feelings of the dad because usually people who don't like or enjoy their life's and need to get away...


I think if I was in Fransisco situation I would have instead of just sitting back and watching my father do that to himself I would have confronted him and told him how it effects him telling him how it feels watching him destroy himself. and since i would have been waking up over and over again i would stay up a little bit and accompanied him.

I think this has to do with the hardships too because it describes how the night before was how he was contently smoking and taking aspirin. I think it describes that because cigarettes show how he just kept smoking away his problems.

I don't think it was a smart idea but still and i could relate to this quote because my aunt smokes and i don't think its the smartest thing she could be doing but since she just my aunt i should be able to respect that but if it was my dad or mom like in his case I think I would speak up and not let them do that to them.
