The Great Gatsby is tragic and very dramatic story about a very wealthy man named Jay Gatsby
I felt that I disagreed with the title of the book because I know it's mostly about Gatsby but its through the eyes of Nick and mostly about Gatsby's love for daisy. When Gatsby took the blame for daisy and I didn't really enjoy it because why would you sign on to something that you didn't' do because I know that if I didn't do something I wouldn't sign on to it no matter how strong my feeling for her are. I mean daisy's guilty how can she just let Gatsby take the blame for her I thought she stated the she loved, or had affection for him. I thought people usually said if you love something then let it free but what she did was she loved someone and let them take the blame for the murder. But I would probable do the same thing because she waited for but he never came instead he comes back a couple of years later.
I was very confused how daisy just killed Myrtle what drove her to kill I mean I've herd of pay back but never leading to murder. And if myrtles husband really new would he have still killed Gatsby. I think that Gatsby didn't do anything wrong but take the blame for daisy if he wouldn't have taken the blame what would have happened to Gatsby and especially daisy I mean because she my favorite in the book because what she overcame especially how long she waited for Gatsby.
I enjoyed the book when Gatsby died because he had daisy waiting for so long and and basically he proved his love for her but as a end to himself.
I don't really agree with how the author didn't have anyone show up to his funeral. I find the very depressing because that means that Gatsby has no real friends which I would hate if that happened to me..
I would suggest this book more to people who like bad story's with unhappy endings. I would more suggest this type of book to adults because it's not really a type of kid book because it talks about crime mostly. it gets very boring but you can't just skip a part because your more an likely to end up just getting confused because I know at times I got confused
